When we moved in to these apartments a year ago we thought we were getting a great deal on a great place! From the start we had a lot of issues with management, being promised things with our apartment that were not carried out and overall everything being a lot more difficult for us than we were told it would be. 1) They told us with our growing family it would be easy and painless to move in to a two bed during our lease time - wrong. 2) Told we were getting a bottom floor, renovated apartment when we actually got a third floor nonrenovated (they rented the apartment we signed for before we new this). Thankfully they were able to get us a renovated apartment though. 3) Our "renovated" apartment had new cabinets but old appliances and carpet. We could never get the smell of cat pee out. 4) Not the end of the world but these apartments are SMALL. We have a normal amount of furniture and stuff but were pretty tight. That only got worse when we had our baby. I could go on and on but these were the big things.
The community was fairly clean and kept when we moved in, but over the last year we've seen them let go of a lot. Despite "policies" walkways are dirty and stained, grass isn't mowed, people smoke in common areas, garbage is everywhere, and the office is never actually open the hours they claim. Good luck dropping off rent or stopping by the office after 5 - 80% of the time they close the office early.
While the actual apartments are nice (although small) it doesn't make up for a poor kept community and management with poor communication skills. There are a lot better places to rent around Orem. Go somewhere else!
